Mette Trier - Copy and Translations Manager

“In SimCorp you feel welcome right from the start – both workwise and personally. I was granted a lot of responsibility already during the first months of joining the company, and quickly my job has evolved from being task-oriented to being much more project-oriented. I work with language in various media every day and strongly appreciate that SimCorp takes communication very seriously. The company by no means only focuses on the functional side of its product, but highly prioritisises communicating professionally about it as well.”

Mette Trier - Copy and Translations Manager, with SimCorp since August 2007

I am working as a Copy and Translations Manager in the Corporate Marketing department, responsible for producing and quality assuring text as well as handling translations for our market units. Also, I am a co-editor of the Journal of Applied IT and Investment Management which is a publication created and distributed globally by SimCorp. This involves taking care of a range of administrative tasks related to running the SimCorp StrategyLab research programme.”

I have a Master of Arts in English & Economics, which has really proved to be a good match of qualifications in this job. My professional background in publishing is also a valuable experience now that we are doing the Journal and also produce books for SimCorp StrategyLab.
