SimCorp Employee Performance Review (EPR) - for career development

In SimCorp, we focus on developing our employees' talents. We want to meet the competition in the market with first-class competences and at the same time fulfill our employees’ wishes and needs for career development. We therefore have a shared responsibility and a common interest in developing your knowledge and skills. One of the tools we use is our biannual EPR talks.

Purpose of the EPR dialogue

In SimCorp, we link individual objectives to department/unit objectives, which are then linked to SimCorp’s overall strategy. In that way, every employee can see and understand his or her own contribution to the company’s performance. At the same time, this allows management to monitor objective achievement regularly and to adjust efforts if required. To ensure that this process is adequately supported, we perform quarterly status and mid-year EPR.

From an employee point of view, the EPR is an opportunity to discuss job satisfaction, career as well as ways to develop professionally as well as personally.
The EPR process ensures that the employee takes responsibility for his or her own development by using the EPR dialogue to outline objectives and suggestions for future development.

Discussing working conditions, how you experience your job, the co-operation with your manager and colleagues, and SimCorp as a workplace are also important elements in the EPR dialogue.
